Some of you will have already done this assignment because I was absent due to illness on Thursday. But for others, I want you to do this reading.
For all students, go to the student shared file. There you can open and print a summary of the prologue the "Thousand and One Nights." Because of some graphic descriptions, I summarized it for you. You may, of course, read the entire thing, but all that is required is what is in the shared file.
Also required: Starting at the first full paragraph on page 932, read through page 939. This means that you will read "The Tale of the Ox and the Donkey" (933-035), "The Tale of the Merchant and His Wife" (935-937), and "The Story of the Merchant and the Demon" ["The First Night"] (937-939).
